Here are another set of ten Neophyte Hybrids for my Warhammer 40,000 Genestealer cult army. This set has the Icon Bearer in it, which allows the unit to recur their casualties, representing more oppressed citizens and/or terrifying aliens joining the unit as the game proceeds. This brings me up to twenty, which is enough for a full-sized unit. Apparently, some tournament lists run over 100 of these little chaps, but that is definitely not for me despite how cool they look.
Next on the painting table: Heimdall, the All-Seeing.

That’s a great looking squad, mate. I don’t blame you for not painting 100 of them either. I don’t know if I could get 20 done myself as I really thrive on variety when painting. So good on you for finishing these! 🙂
Thank you! I think it’s times like this when I realise that I’ll probably never get properly into playing 40K outside of my friends’ houses – I just couldn’t face painting that many minis these days.
I feel the same way. I can’t do army based games no matter how cool they look assembled on a battlefield. I just paint too slow for that, unfortunately.
