Druze Bayram Security family photo

I finally finished painting all my (current batch of) miniatures for my Druze Bayram Security army in Infinity. Interest in the game has waned again among my group of friends so I don’t currently have any plans to get more. Of course, games go up and down in our desire to play them so Infinity is just one strong advocate away from returning to being a regular on the gaming table. In the meantime I enjoyed the process of painting this lot; they’re a rather different sculpting style than most of the miniatures I own.  In particular, I really like the way they look like a coherent force with their matching colours.

I don’t think that they add up to a very sensible army for gaming purposes, but in case anyone is interested, this is what they would be fielded as (with a minimum of messing with profiles).

  1. Excellent mate, great to see them all together!

  2. Love it! I remember the day I finally finished my 3000+ point IG army. The coherence paint scheme was a real source of pride. Unfortunately, less than 6-months after that high moment, my gaming group just dissolved. I still have much of the army in boxes, but they haven’t seen a tabletop in decades.

    • Thank you! It sure does feel good to have a coherently (and completely) painted force.

Perhaps with your new job you can find a new group to play your IG with? Anyway, I always figure that the pleasure of the painting is a reward enough in its own right that I don’t need to play with the miniatures to feel that I have ‘got my money’s worth’.

  3. They look great! Congrats on finishing them!

  4. Woot the promised group shot 😁. The colour scheme looks superb and it really ties them together as a cohesive force.

    • Thanks! It has been a long time coming; I’m not a fast painter and I have a variety of projects going on even for that limited amount of time. But it it good to get these complete at last.

  5. Great looking group shot for these guys – if you want me to include them in Army April (yeah, I know these shots were taken in March – but it’s fine) then let me know and just drop the link in the post:
